The Ministry of Aviation has issued policy guidelines on drone cameras. Under these regulations, a person who owns a drone must register with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) within 4 months. The Aviation Ministry will issue remote pilot licenses to CAA drone camera owners.
Drones are divided into 4 categories based on weight, and licenses for commercial and non-commercial drones are valid for up to 3 years.
Restrictions will be imposed on the import of drones, including clearance from the Ministry of Defense and border control.
In the event of an accident, notification to the Civil Aviation Authority is mandatory.
Drone owners will be prosecuted for breaking the rules.
Civil Aviation Authority inspectors will also inspect drones and restrict unmanned aerial vehicles.
Drones flying within 6 kilometers of the airport will also be restricted.
