Washington: The IRS accused Microsoft of paying $29 billion in taxes.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has accused Microsoft of evading $29 billion in taxes. According to a blog post published by Microsoft, the company said the IRS failed to pay required taxes from 2004 to 2013 and plans to file an administrative appeal, if necessary.
Microsoft also revealed that since 2004, the company has paid more than $67 billion in taxes.
