MIANWALI: The Forest Department Mianwali has stepped up patrolling, monitoring and enforcement activities in forest areas to prevent illegal tree cutting and timber theft.
The operations are being carried out under the supervision of Deputy Conservator of Forests Irshad Ullah Gondal. According to the department, action is being taken in accordance with the law against individuals involved in illegal tree cutting and timber theft.
Assistant Conservator Muhammad Rashid, Forest Protection Officer Shehzad Mehboob, Forest Inspector Shahjahan Khan and other members of the Mianwali Forest Force are actively participating in the field operations.
Forest teams are maintaining close surveillance in forest areas to detect and prevent illegal activities and protect forest resources.
Deputy Conservator Irshad Ullah Gondal said patrols and monitoring would continue to protect forests and curb activities that threaten forest resources.
The department’s continued field presence is aimed at protecting trees, reducing illegal timber extraction and supporting the long-term conservation of Mianwali’s forest areas.
