A man who entered a lion’s cage to impress his fiancée lost his life in Uzbekistan.
According to foreign media reports, 44-year-old F. Eriskolo, a zookeeper at an Uzbek zoo, decided to enter a cage with three lions to record a video in an attempt to impress his fiancée. However, during the incident, he became the lions’ prey, and his screams were captured on his phone.
The clip recovered from his phone showed Eriskolo opening the lions’ cage at night and speaking to the lions, but the hungry lions attacked him, leading to his tragic death. His remains were retrieved four hours later. After the incident, the zoo confirmed that the three lions escaped but one was found and shot dead. Police confirmed that Eriskolo was an experienced zookeeper.
