MASTUJ: Wildlife staff in Mastuj rescued a Lagger Falcon found in a severely weak and debilitated condition and provided the bird with immediate first aid and continuous care.
The wildlife team monitored and cared for the falcon for three consecutive days, providing the necessary treatment and support to help restore its strength.
Following the treatment and care, the bird recovered sufficiently and was declared fit to fly.
The Lagger Falcon was subsequently released back into its natural habitat by the Additional Assistant Commissioner Mastuj in the presence of Wildlife Department staff.
The successful rescue and release highlights the importance of timely wildlife intervention and rehabilitation in protecting native bird species and maintaining healthy ecosystems.
Wildlife officials stressed that rescuing injured or weakened wild animals and returning them safely to their natural habitats remains an important part of wildlife conservation efforts.
