ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Wildlife Department has successfully handed over three rescued Chukar partridges to the Punjab Wildlife Department in Chakwal for their safe release into their natural habitat.
According to the department, the transfer is part of ongoing efforts to conserve native wildlife and ensure that rescued birds are rehabilitated and returned to the wild under appropriate conditions.
Officials said the initiative reflects the department’s continued commitment to wildlife conservation, biodiversity protection, and inter-agency cooperation aimed at safeguarding Pakistan’s natural heritage.
The authorities reiterated that rescued wildlife should be released into suitable natural habitats whenever possible, allowing native species to thrive in the wild while strengthening conservation efforts across the country.
