Recent social media claims that Dubai has stopped issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42 have been deemed false.
The viral rumor, which caused widespread concern among prospective tourists and the Pakistani community, was found to be baseless after a thorough investigation.
“Dubai suspends visas for Pakistani men under 42 – no official announcement, but confirmed by several reliable sources in the local tourism industry,” user X (formerly of Twitter) tweeted recently.

The tweet quickly gained traction, fueling speculation about the visa ban.
However, authoritative sources have confirmed that there is no truth to this claim. Dubai has not officially announced or implemented any business travel or work visa restrictions on Pakistani nationals, including single men under the age of 42.
The incident echoes a similar incident last year, where the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reportedly stopped issuing visit visas to residents of certain Pakistani cities.
Although the travel agency confirms this claim without proper confirmation, the official statement from the UAE authorities has not yet proved such an action.
In response to earlier rumours, Pakistan’s Foreign Office strongly denied the UAE visa ban targeting Pakistani citizens. The UAE Consulate General in Karachi also condemned the report as “fake news” and said there was no such ban.
