Iran has warned Israel of a larger attack in response to Tehran’s drone and missile attacks overnight and warned Washington not to support Israeli military action.
“If Israel takes revenge on Iran, we will give a bigger response than the current military action,” Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the secretary general of Iran’s armed forces, told state television.
Tehran also warned Washington that any support for Israeli retaliation would result in targeting US bases.
US President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the US would not support an attack on Iran, according to a senior media official.

According to CNN and Axios, the two exchanged messages over the phone.
According to Axios, Biden assured Netanyahu that the US would respond to any attack on Israel. According to CNN, Biden said the United States would not retaliate.
