The CEO of Noida’s residential plot department made at least 16 employees stand as a disciplinary measure after witnessing an elderly citizen, along with others, waiting for 20 minutes at the service counter.
According to foreign media reports, Dr. Lokesh M, the CEO of the Noida Authority, took strict action against the staff after noticing an elderly man being made to wait unnecessarily at the service counter.
During routine CCTV monitoring, Dr. Lokesh saw delays in service and immediately instructed the staff to resolve the issue.
According to a report by NDTV, when Dr. Lokesh noticed that the elderly man was still waiting even after he had ordered faster service, he became furious.
The CEO visited the department and ordered 16 employees, including female staff, to stand for 20 minutes while continuing their work as a disciplinary measure.
