Lahore: At a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick stated that the apartheid and supremacist Indian state has no right to celebrate its Republic Day in the bleak region of Kashmir.
In a video message, Mushaal, the wife of Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, who is incarcerated in Kashmir, criticized the Indian government, led by the RSS, for celebrating the abrogation of the constitution, persecuting minorities, and weakening the principles of democracy.
According to SAPM, in an attempt to silence the opposition voices, the fascist government, backed by the RSS, has launched a wave of state terrorism and brutalities.
Mushaal declared that they would be unable to weaken the valiant Kashmiri people’s courage, as they would persist in their fight for independence until they were granted their inalienable right to self-determination.
It is important to note that Kashmiris celebrated Indian Republic Day as Black Day in protest against India’s ongoing denial of their right to self-determination, both inside and outside of the Line of Control.
According to the SAPM, it is disgraceful for India to refer to itself as a republic since Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which has been turned into the greatest torture cell in the world, is still under unlawful occupation.
According to Mushaal, the infamous Indian authorities violated the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people by locking up prominent members of the community, such as Yasin Malik, on spurious charges in an effort to silence them.
It was appalling that the world community, UN agencies, and human rights organizations continued to refer to India as the largest democracy when it was perpetrating the worst atrocities and usurping all of the legal and constitutional rights of Kashmiris.
Yasin Malik’s wife claimed that instead of being the largest democracy in the world, India was the most fascist and apartheid state in history, where members of all other minority communities, including Kashmiri Muslims, lived in abject horror and were subjected to cruel and brutal atrocities.
Mushaal promised that the Kashmiri people would not give up their struggle and would see it through to its inevitable conclusion, even in the face of the horrors committed by the Indian army.
In order to prevent the biggest humanitarian and human crises in history, she stated that the current state of affairs in IIOJK presents a significant challenge to the international community and encouraged the superpowers to assist in resolving the unresolved Kashmir conflict in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Mushaal said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Lord Ram idol at the newly built temple on the location of the Babri Masjid, which was destroyed by a Hindutva rioting group centuries ago.
The SAPM on Human Rights had predicted that the divisive policies of the RSS would eventually cause India to disintegrate.
