India Nears Becoming the World’s Fourth Largest Country in Space Docking Technology

India’s space agency has announced plans to launch 10 space missions in 2025. According to media reports, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has planned 10 space flights, including its first commercial space mission, for 2025.

Chairman of ISRO, S. Somnath, told journalists in a press conference that India has ambitious projects for the coming year. He mentioned that ISRO is preparing to launch the NVS-02 satellite in January 2025, with plans to send more missions within the same year.

The agency stated that India is moving towards becoming the fourth country in the world to have space docking technology, with the NVS-02 navigation satellite being part of the 10 planned missions. Furthermore, ISRO will launch the second satellite in its second-generation navigation series and the ninth satellite for the Indian Navigation Constellation.
