At the other end of the rankings, Afghanistan is at the bottom of the rankings, occupying the 109th position. Afghan nationals face significant travel restrictions as they can only access 26 destinations without the need to obtain a visa in advance. The country’s ongoing problems have contributed to its low rating, reflecting geopolitical tensions and security concerns.
India, meanwhile, secured the 85th position with its passport holders enjoying visa-free or visa-free access to 61 destinations. The ranking reflects India’s efforts to improve its global standing and foster stronger international ties. However, there are still areas for improvement as India seeks to further expand the mobility of its citizens on the world stage.
Pakistan is ranked 106th, just ahead of Syria and Iraq. Pakistani passport holders have visa-free or visa-free access to 32 destinations, highlighting the country’s efforts to improve international relations and facilitate travel for its citizens. However, there is still room for improvement as Pakistan seeks to strengthen its global standing and ensure greater mobility for its people.
