Google announced today that all app users can access AI-powered features in Google Photos without a paid subscription. Features include Light Portrait, Photo Unblur, and Magic Eraser.
It will begin on May 15, the day after Google’s annual developer conference. Expect a few weeks past that date, as Google prefers to operate as usual. Google has announced that the three mentioned functions will be available “on more devices, including Pixel tablets.”
Magic Editor for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro was released by Google last year. With just a few easy steps, such as copying a theme or changing the color of the sky, it can perform complex transformations with the help of creative AI. With unlimited usage, it is now available on all Pixel devices.
Plus, every Google Photos user on iOS and Android gets 10 Magic Editor savings every month. To exceed this limit, you need a Pixel device or a Google One Premium subscription with at least 2TB of storage.
