BERLIN, GERMANY — Continuing her high-level academic mission in Germany, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (Pride of Performance, T.I.), Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), held key strategic discussions with leading educational and technological hubs in Berlin. The engagements focused on advancing university-industry linkages, fostering entrepreneurship, and building sustainable research pipelines between Pakistan and Germany.


As part of the itinerary, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza (PoP, T.I) met with Prof. Dr. Silke Bustamante, Vice President of the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin). The leadership dialogue centered on establishing formal institutional linkages, facilitating faculty & student exchange programs, and launching joint research initiatives tailored to global economic and management challenges.


Strengthening the emphasis on technology transfer and commercialization, the Vice Chancellor also toured Technology Park Adlershof, one of Europe’s premier science, technology, and innovation clusters. The visit provided first hand insights into dynamic ecosystems where academic research directly integrates with tech startups and industrial enterprises, offering a benchmark model for FJWU’s own innovation and entrepreneurial programs.
