A unique study conducted by European researchers has revealed that an unhealthy diet is causing premature aging even in young individuals, along with increasing the risk of various diseases.
According to research published in a medical journal, consuming fried foods, sugary drinks, cold beverages, fast food, red meat, and artificial sweeteners not only affects overall health but also accelerates aging in young people.
The study was conducted on nearly 900 individuals aged between 21 and 25. Researchers analyzed their diet, questioned them, and conducted multiple tests to assess the rate of aging and its effects on their bodies.
The participants’ diets were divided into six categories, and researchers examined how each dietary habit impacted age progression and overall health.
Findings showed that individuals who consumed fewer fruits and vegetables were the most affected. In addition to being at higher risk for various health complications, they also exhibited signs of premature aging.
Researchers found that excessive consumption of fast food, artificial sweeteners, fried foods, red meat, and sugary drinks not only contributes to diseases in young people but also accelerates the aging process.
Furthermore, a lack of fruits and vegetables in the diet was identified as a major factor in increasing health issues and speeding up aging.
The study recommended that young individuals should prioritize a well-balanced diet, ensuring the inclusion of fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain overall health and prevent premature aging.
