Once upon a time, youth lived in a mountainous area who had eggs laying hens. He used to sell these eggs every day to earn livelihood for his family. He had built a beautiful enclosure for the hens on the mountain.
One day, a hungry fox was looking for food. When she saw a number of hens at a single place, her mouth began to water. The youth had gone to sell egg the time.
The fox was very happy to have an opportunity. She took advantage of the situation, attack the hens and ate one of them. The hens made a lot of noise and the fox ran away from there towards the forest.
The fox came to the location very next day and ate another hen. The fox started to visit the area on daily basis and eating a hen daily. The youth noticed that number of eggs has started decreasing, resulting in decline of his income.
He started counting the hens and noticed that number of hens was decreasing on daily basis. The youth was very worried and thought that maybe someone was stealing his hens. To safeguard his hens, the youth brought two dogs named Dabo and the Blacko.
Next day, he left the Blacko at home to guard the hens and took Dabo along with him to village for selling eggs. The fox when came to known that two dogs were acquired to guard the hens, she got frightened he avoided to visit the location next few days. But few days later, she came to the area at the time when the youth had gone to sell eggs along with Dabo.
When the fox reached the area, she saw that Blacko who was not loyal to his owner was himself eating a hen. The fox understood that now no one could stop him from eating the hens. The fox said to Blacko, “You are not loyal to your owner, I will him about the reality.” Blacko said to the fox, “You should not do that, if you want, you can also eat hens. We will both eat hens together.”
Despite engaging Blacko to guard hens, their number was gradually decreasing. The youth thought to protect the hens himself as his income was also declining due to the decrease in number of hens and he get least number of eggs.
The youth notices said that when he feed his two dogs, Dabo eats it but Blacko avoid which made him to think that something was wrong.
One day he did not go to village to sell eggs and hid in nearby bushes along with Dabo to check that who steals his hens. Blacko thought that as per usual, his owner and Dabo have left to sell eggs. He first killed hen and ate it and then fox reached the scene. Blacko did not stop fox and allowed her to kill a hen and eat it.
Seeing all this, the youth got annoyed, he shot dead Blacko and the fox. Thus, along with fox, the Blacko also got punishment for cheating his owner.
Then the youth deployed Daboo to guard his hens who secured them with full commitment. The youth was very pleased with Daboo and he took great care of him.
In this way the traitor got punishment of cheating and loyal got reward of his devotion.
The lesson we get from this story is that the cheater never has good end, and loyal always gets reward of his devotion.
