An unfortunate incident occurred in the capital city of Islamabad where dacoits looted two foreign nationals in the jurisdiction of Margalla Police Station.
According to reports, armed men on a motorcycle took the mobile phones of foreign visitors and fled. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi noted the incident.
Mohsin Naqvi contacted Islamabad Police IG Ali Nasir Rizvi and got details about the incident. He ordered the immediate arrest of the perpetrators and said those involved should be brought to justice.
According to the Capital Police Spokesperson, Islamabad Police IG Ali Nasir Rizvi took note of the theft and formed four special teams to nab the culprits.
Islamabad Police said the culprits would be arrested soon.
Last month in May, there was a case of kidnapping of a foreign woman in Islamabad. Polish citizens were robbed in the F-6 Super market. The two accused detained the woman on the pretense of posing as police officers and extorted money from her.
Sources told to private news channel that the perpetrators escaped with 500 pounds and 500 Euros after wearing down the police officers.
After receiving information, Kohsar police station reached the spot.
