Islamabad: Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad has directed force personnel to ensure smooth traffic and enforcement of traffic rules in the capital, the public relations officer said.
He said that as per the instructions of Islamabad Capital Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, CTO Islamabad held a special meeting with zonal DSPs, in-charges and Muharras. During the meeting, the traffic management measures taken were reviewed.
He directed officials to improve transport plans and ensure an exemplary transport system in the city. He asked the officials to prepare an effective traffic plan and incorporate all the recommendations of the police officers in it to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city.
