Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir reiterated the importance of unity and collective efforts for Pakistan’s growth and prosperity.
“We are all united as Team Pakistan,” he said while addressing the participants of the inaugural Green Pakistan Conference. He said, a holistic approach is needed to solve the problem and motivate the community for development.
“The efforts of those who are obstructing and disrupting the journey of development will not succeed with the support of the people,” the army chief said, adding that negative propaganda and social media trolls cannot disturb Pakistan and move towards development. and the prosperity of the people.
The COAS stressed the decision to overcome obstacles and focus on national development. “Complete independence without economic stability is impossible today,” he said.
He also reiterated his commitment to tolerance of any form of instability that could hinder the prosperity of the nation.
In a call to action, the army chief urged all stakeholders to come together to eliminate negative forces and distractions and focus on Pakistan’s journey of development and stability.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanwer Hussain attended the conference besides civil and military officials involved in national work.
The forum was briefed on multilateral GPI initiatives and key indicators achieved in a short period of time.
Initiatives presented before the forum also included the creation of conventional farms, water management schemes, technological innovation and investment partnerships to provide food farms and increase agricultural productivity in Pakistan.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers praised the revolutionary initiative and said that agriculture is the way of life of Pakistan. They hope that the GPI will introduce best practices in agriculture.
