Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered the opening of 65 services under the Maryam Ki Dastak program in all departments.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz approved the expansion of the Dastak project, while the Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Council briefed about the expansion of the project.
In the briefing, it was explained that the service of residence, electronic stamp, birth, death and marriage certificate can be accessed through the Dastak application. In addition, Dastak application includes property tax, registration tax, vehicle transfer and new vehicle registration facility.
During the briefing, members of the public can apply for services through the “Maryam Ki Dastak” web portal, mobile application or the 1202 call center.
The services offered to citizens through the Dastak mobile application were also reviewed during the meeting. Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz wants to improve services under the Dastak program.
Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz directed to provide “Maryam Ki Dastak” service in the province in December. It has also decided to increase the number of services in Lahore to 40, increasing the number of services in Lahore to 65 by August.
From August 14, the Maryam Ki Dastak service will be launched in every department where the services of the police, revenue, local government, excise, TMA and development agencies will be available, among other departments.
