Child Calls 911 for Homework Help

In the United States, a 10-year-old boy called 911 for help with his homework.

A deputy sheriff in Wisconsin responded to the call and later discovered that the child had dialed 911 to ask for assistance with his math homework.

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media that an officer answered the 911 call from the 10-year-old, who explained that he needed help with his math homework.

The post stated that the child mentioned his family wasn’t good at math, and he needed help.

Sheriff George Lenzer said that dispatcher Kim Krause explained to the child that calling 911 for homework assistance wasn’t appropriate. However, the officer still offered to help the child.
