Chicken tikka is a delicious recipe mostly served to the visiting guests across the country both in lunch and dinner. It is presented along with chippati and naan. Here are the ingredients required and method of the preparation of the dish.
Ingredients: Quantity
Chicken (leg) 2 pieces
Yogurt 1 cup
Cream Half cup
Papaya paste 2-3 tablespoons
Green chili paste 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder half teaspoon
Turmeric powder half teaspoon
Hot spice powder half teaspoon
Kachri powder half teaspoon
Black pepper powder half teaspoon
Garam masala half teaspoon
Cumin powder half teaspoon
Salt As per taste
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Preparation Method:
Take turmeric powder, red chili powder, hot spice powder, kachri powder, Black pepper powder, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, coriander powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, papaya paste, cream, green chili paste in a bowl and mix it till all items are completely merged.
The add a pinch of paprika powder to the mixture and blend it.
Now take chicken leg pieces in another bowl, pour the marinade over it and mix it well.
Let make diagonal cuts over the chicken pieces and marinate for 30 to 40 minutes.
Afterwards, grill the chicken pieces on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes and keep rotating them so that all sides are evenly cooked.
