The Indian police have arrested a woman who married multiple wealthy men and stole from them. Seema, also known as Nikki, from Uttarakhand, married her first husband, a businessman from Agra, in 2013. After some time, she filed a case against his family and received a settlement of 7.5 million rupees.
In 2017, Seema married a software engineer from Gurgaon and, after their separation, managed to extract 1 million rupees as a settlement.
In 2023, she married a businessman from Jaipur but soon fled with 36 million rupees worth of jewelry and cash. Following a complaint from the family, Jaipur police apprehended Seema.
According to the police, Seema used matchmaking sites to find her victims, often contacting men who were either divorced or widowed. Through her marriages in different states, Seema amassed a total of 12.5 million rupees as settlements.
