Karachi: Actor Bilal Qureshi of Pakistan’s drama industry has expressed serious anger at the government for long hours of load shedding in extreme heat.
Most cities and villages across the country, including Karachi, are engulfed in intense heat and prolonged load shedding during this time adds to the suffering of citizens. K-Electric went ahead with announced and unannounced 12-hour load shedding in most areas of Karachi, resulting not only in various illnesses due to the intense heat, but also in several deaths.
In this situation, Pakistani actor Bilal Qureshi, expressing extreme frustration, sent a message to the Pakistani government on his official Instagram.
In his Instagram story, Bilal Qureshi said that every year during extreme heat, load shedding and electricity bills increase and poor people cry.
The actor expressed his anger and said that the taxes imposed by the government have made people mad.
He further added that the government should be ashamed and embarrassed during this worst heat.
