These medications work by removing excess fluid from the body through urine, which could cause frequent bathroom trips if taken at night and disrupt your sleep.
Therefore, it is generally recommended to take blood pressure medications in the morning, or if the medication is prescribed to be taken twice a day, at least six hours before bedtime.
