Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan organized a Grand Iftar dinner and Eid gift distribution for at least 2,000 orphans, 1,000 widows, and senior citizens from nursing homes enrolled in the Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program.
The event chaired by Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, President, of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, witnessed an outpouring of joy and camaraderie as the children reveled in activities specially tailored for their enjoyment.
From bouncy castles to face painting, a glamorous magic show, and henna stalls for girls, every aspect of the event was designed to create unforgettable memories.
After the celebrations, Eid gifts, clothes, and other expressions of love were distributed among the esteemed visitors, including orphans, their brave mothers, and esteemed elders from retirement homes. The ceremony was graced by the distinguished presence of President Alkhidmat Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, Vice President Alkhidmat Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat, President Alkhidmat Central Punjab Ikram ul Haq Subhani and President Alkhidmat Lahore Engr. Hamad Ahmed Rashid along with a large number of representatives of youth organizations, philanthropists, civil society members, orphaned children, their brave mothers, and elderly residents of Nursing Homes.

On this occasion, Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman highlighted the unwavering commitment of the Alkhidmat Foundation to support 30,000 orphans annually along with assisting brave mothers and elderly people through various initiatives. He emphasized the significance of these events in alleviating the sense of deprivation among orphaned children and the elderly, enabling them to participate in the joyous spirit of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
Dr. Highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Hafeez ur Rehman reiterated the tireless efforts of the Alkhidmat Foundation in assisting the displaced and affected families of Gaza. He concluded by sharing the amount of aid sent to Gaza worth more than PKR 1,700 million. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat echoed this sentiment, affirming the right of orphans and vulnerable elderly individuals to participate in Ramadan and Eid celebrations, and emphasized the collective responsibility to uplift and support these marginalized segments of society.
Led by Alkhidmat Foundation’s dedicated volunteers, this event symbolizes a beacon of hope and compassion and reaffirms the organization’s unwavering commitment to serving humanity in times of need.
