Air University (AU) hosted its 11th convocation ceremony, recognizing the accomplishments of 1389 alumni who finished their degree programs. The event, held at AU’s main campus in Islamabad, was attended by proud parents, prominent faculty members, and distinguished guests. Air Marshal Farhat Hussain Khan HI (M), S. Bt. (Retd), Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Aviation, presided over the convocation event as the principal guest.
The giving of degrees was the convocation’s high point, with 15 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) recipients, 39 Gold medalists, and 27 Silver medalists. The University is immensely proud of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by these alumni throughout their academic careers.
The Vice-Chancellor, Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed HI (M) (Retd), made an inspiring report to the graduates and their parents, emphasizing the university’s dedication to academic achievement and future plans. In the report, the Vice Chancellor underscored the university’s ongoing efforts to create a conducive learning environment, stimulate innovation, and prepare students for the challenges of a fast changing global context.
The Vice Chancellor praised graduates not only for their academic accomplishments but also for their overall development, which included participation in extracurricular activities, community service, and research projects. He stated that the university takes pleasure in developing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also possess the skills and knowledge required to have a beneficial impact on society.
