MARDAN : Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Mardan Kamran Khan, the slaughterhouses of Mardan have become fully functional, in which animals are now slaughtered under the supervision of a livestock doctor and the doctor puts his stamp on the meat. All the people are informed that while buying meat, the meat of the butcher who has the doctor’s stamp on it has been slaughtered under the supervision of the doctor and should buy the same meat.The Assistant Commissioner issued instructions to all butchers to slaughter the animals in government slaughter houses under the supervision of livestock doctors instead of slaughtering in shops. AC Mardan made it clear that the butchers whose meat does not have the stamp of the concerned doctor of the Livestock Department will be confiscated and legal action will be taken against them. Deputy Commissioner Mardan Dr. Azmatullah Wazir said in his address that all the butchers have been requested to slaughter their animals in the slaughter house proposed by the government, where there is a certified veterinary officer of the government who inspects the animals gives the approval to slaughter it by checking it according to hygiene norms so that all the meat supplied to the market from here is in accordance with hygiene norms, In this regard, we are running our awareness campaign till next Monday. Later, from Monday, all the violators will be arrested with legal action. Our mission is to keep the environment clean and provide quality meat to the public and an ideal environment for butchers to slaughter animals for employment.
