MARDAN: A special ceremony was held in honor of the faculty members of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan who received the Best Researcher Award of Pakistan Academy of Science for 2024.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahir Shah Professor Dr. Aurangzeb Professor Dr. Sher Afzal Professor Dr. Saeedul Islam Professor Dr. Fatima Khanzada Dr. Abid Dr. Saleem Abdullah Dr. Tariq Mahmood Registrar Hasan Khan were present on this occasion.
Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Saeedul Islam, Prof. Dr. Salim Abdullah, Dr. Abid and Dr. Fahad. He said that thanks to these scientists, and said that these are the real assets of university. Abdul Wali Khan University has achieved a prominent position across the country. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah distributed certificates and shields to the gold medal winning faculty members and lunch is given in their honour.
