A Dog Became the First to Enter Romania After Its Inclusion in the Schengen Area

At the beginning of this year, two new countries were added to the Schengen list, and an interesting incident occurred that brought smiles to the faces of many. On January 1st, Romania and Bulgaria were officially included in the Schengen Area, bringing the total number of Schengen countries to 29.

According to reports, a ceremony was held at the border between Romania and its neighboring country, Hungary, to mark the removal of border restrictions. During the ceremony, a stray dog wandered from Hungary into Romania, causing both officials on either side to laugh and applaud.

The video of the incident went viral on social media, with users sharing their amusing comments.

It is important to note that the Schengen Area consists of European countries that do not have border controls between them. People from these countries can travel freely within the Schengen Area without a visa, and individuals from other parts of the world can also benefit from this convenience.
