Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has said that he has never paid attention to the conversations that revolve around how his films are doing.
He insisted that one do his job and the rest would take care of themselves.
Big B took to his blog to write about the 1988 film ‘Shahenshah’ having a “historical pre-booking”.
He wrote: “Shahenshah! .. the film had a historic advance booking which was never repeated in the history of Hindi cinema .. all the theaters were sold out by 1st February 1988 – two weeks before the release of the film!! .. never before! .. never again !! .. Courtesy: Ef Saikarun and his trending brand #MoDD™ ..”
The movie icon said he never had that information.
“Gosh, this information is encouraging to read… I have to admit I never knew about this… and frankly, I never paid attention to such a conversation,” he said.
He then shares some wisdom about how focus on work matters and the rest follows.
“Do your job and that’s it.. the rest will take care of itself.. If he deserves credit he’ll get it.. if he doesn’t there won’t be anything around him to justify the effect.. Love and more later,” he wrote.
On the work front, Big B will next be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone.
