PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Wildlife Division has conducted a field operation in Sahran Mehra, Tila Ban and Shagudag to monitor and prevent the illegal trapping of falcons during the migration season.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Wildlife Manahil Wahab, along with Range Officer Amir and field staff.
During the operation, the wildlife team conducted field surveillance and inspected potential trapping sites to deter illegal activities and strengthen the protection of migratory falcons.
Such operations are particularly important during the falcon migration season, when wild birds may face the risk of illegal capture and trafficking.
The Peshawar Wildlife Division said it remains committed to enforcing wildlife laws, protecting migratory birds and conserving valuable wildlife species through continued field operations and monitoring.
