LAHORE: Director General Suthra Punjab chaired an online board meeting to review provincial sanitation operations, ongoing activities and strategic coordination across the province.
The high-level meeting was attended by Commissioners from multiple divisions, representatives of the Punjab Finance Department and other senior government officials.
The participants reviewed operational matters and discussed coordination mechanisms aimed at improving the implementation and monitoring of Suthra Punjab’s initiatives across different administrative divisions.
The meeting also provided a platform for senior officials to assess ongoing operations, strengthen inter-departmental coordination and ensure effective implementation of provincial sanitation and cleanliness programmes.
ADG Sohail Cheema represented Punjab WASA during the proceedings, highlighting the importance of coordination between sanitation, water management and other relevant public-sector institutions.
The DG Suthra Punjab stressed the need for effective coordination among departments and administrative formations to ensure efficient service delivery and achieve the province’s cleanliness and sanitation objectives.
The meeting forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional coordination and improve the effectiveness of provincial operations through regular monitoring and strategic planning.
