Green Sindh Foundation Launches Plantation Drive at Larkana University Campus

LARKANA: The Green Sindh Foundation has launched a plantation campaign at the Larkana University Campus under the theme “Plant Trees, Make Larkana Green”, promoting environmental awareness and community participation in tree plantation.

The plantation drive was led by Chairman Dheri Town Larkana Shah Rukh Khan Sial, with Green Sindh Foundation Founder Zulfiqar Magsi and Larkana University Campus Focal Person Dr. Farhan Bashir joining students in planting saplings on the campus.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Zulfiqar Magsi said that a tree planted today would provide shade and environmental benefits for future generations. He said the foundation was committed to making Larkana greener through sustained plantation activities and greater public awareness.

“We have resolved to make the soil of our beloved city Larkana greener,” he said, emphasizing that the campaign was not limited to planting trees but also aimed at developing environmental consciousness among young people.

He said involving students in plantation activities was particularly important because they could play a key role in building a healthier and more environmentally responsible society.

The Green Sindh Foundation urged citizens, particularly young people and students, to plant and care for trees and become part of efforts to create a cleaner, greener and healthier Larkana.
“Plant a tree today for a cleaner and healthier future.”
