ISLAMABAD — Adnan Arif has been appointed as a member of the Central Standing Committee on Media Broadcasting for 2026 by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, according to an official notification issued on May 4.
The appointment was formally acknowledged as Atif Ikram Sheikh presented the notification, marking his inclusion in a national-level platform focused on media and industry engagement.
Adnan Arif, Editor-in-Chief of The Public Purview, will take part in discussions related to media development, public engagement, and the evolving broadcasting landscape in Pakistan. The committee operates under FPCCI and works to strengthen coordination between the media sector and the business community.
Members of the committee are expected to contribute to policy dialogue, industry collaboration, and initiatives addressing challenges in media and broadcasting. The body also supports efforts aimed at improving communication between stakeholders and promoting responsible journalism.
