An Australian restaurant set a Guinness World Record by preparing a 549.75 kg kebab and French fries to feed festival-goers.
King Kebab House, located in Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia, created this massive serving for a street festival in the area. The process began with 299.3 kg of un-fried fries and 589.6 kg of raw chicken and beef.
Once cooked, the restaurant distributed 299.6 kg of kebab and 250.3 kg of French fries among the participants. The food was served on several tables arranged at the site, covering a total length of over 300 feet.
This meal set the Guinness World Record for the largest doner kebab meat and chips serving.
Mevlana Sefsi, the owner and operator of King Kebab House, said in a conversation with Guinness World Records that the Campbelltown community has been very supportive of his business over the years, and this was the best way to thank the community and give back.
