After Pakistan’s humiliating defeat to the USA in the T20 World Cup, Indian commentators Harsha Bogle and Irfan Pathan questioned captain Babar Azam’s batting performance.
The national team was defeated by the United States in a match at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. In this match, captain Babar Azam broke Virat Kohli’s record for most runs in T20 Internationals.
Babar Azam is the second in the world to score more than 4000 runs in the shortest format, a record previously held by Kohli.
Babar Azam is leading with 4043 runs in 133 innings, Virat Kohli is second with 4038 runs and Rohit Sharma is third with 4026 runs.
Irfan Pathan tweeted on X (Twitter) and said that even in a good batting position as a captain, if he plays 40+ balls with 100 runs, it will not help this team.
