In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 drafts, an interesting incident happened with Bollywood actress Preity Zinta’s franchise.
A video is going viral on social networking site Twitter (X) in which it can be seen that Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta and her team members have inadvertently made a player part of the squad, the organizer has given Shashank Singh 20. Starting the bidding with an auction of Rs 1 lakh, the franchisee immediately bought them, but later realized their mistake, but by the time it was too late.
Preity Zinta raised the pedal to auction the player and the organizer announced the player’s joining Punjab Kings, but when the Kings asked to withdraw the decision, the host refused and thus the player became a part of their squad.

Such an incident has happened for the first time in the history of IPL, the video of which is going viral on social media.
The top officials of the Kings franchise told the host Mallika that if there is a bid to buy Shashank Singh, you have to go with them.
