KARACHI: There is bad news for heavy electricity payers. Current loan payments will be denied this facility. Now consumers are deprived of the benefit of paying electricity in installments.
NEPRA has capped the electricity tariff. Customers can now pay an annual fee for their account.
In this regard, NEPRA has revised the Consumer Service Manual and issued instructions to all power companies. NEPRA directed that a new computerized bill be issued if the fee is paid.
NEPRA has announced that the new consumer service manual is also applicable for K-Electric customers.
