The Hashoo Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Hashoo Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Haris Qayyum Khan as its new CEO.
A CFA-certified professional with a Masters in Management Economics from the UK, Haris brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic consulting, specializing in development economics, regional cooperation and green transition strategies. His professional journey includes contributions to the UK banking sector and development projects across Asia. Haris’ extensive expertise includes strategic planning, leadership, project and program management, program design and development, along with emergency response expertise.
In his previous role, Haris headed the Asia Foundation Pakistan, leading its economic growth and regional cooperation initiatives. It focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral forums through enhanced political dialogue and regional cooperation. During his career, Haris has worked with a number of national and international organizations, including the European Union, USAID, DFAT, FCDO, ADB, Google, and the United States Department of State.
Haris has also played a key role in creating and strengthening transnational frameworks and multilateral forums. His expertise in future skills, green transition and sustainable development aligns with Hashoo Foundation’s values and commitment to support a better future through environmentally friendly initiatives.
As CEO, Haris will focus on expanding the foundation’s reach, fostering partnerships with global organizations and supporting innovative programs that strengthen communities.
