Islamabad, Pakistan – The 1st International Conference on Global Family Dynamics: Navigating Change in the 21st Century, organized by the Women Wellbeing Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Riphah International University, concluded today at the university’s Female Campus in Gulberg Green, Islamabad. This transformative event gathered influential scholars, policymakers, and advocates from across the globe, with participants from the UK, USA, Australia, Lebanon, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Canada, and Turkiye.
Mr. Hassan Muhammad Khan, Chancellor of Riphah International University, delivered a special address, expressing the university’s commitment to advancing understanding of global family issues and highlighting the importance of strengthening families as foundational elements of society. The conference opened with Humera Batool, Deputy Manager of the Women Wellbeing Program, delivering the inaugural remarks, followed by a warm welcome note from Dr. Kausar Firdoos, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor for the Women Wellbeing Program. Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of the family unit as a stabilizing force in an increasingly complex global landscape.
