Strict legal action was taken against the offenders in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife and Biodiversity Act, 2015 and applicable wildlife regulations.

The wildlife team also checked legal hunters and verified their shooting licences and other required documents. Form-14 was issued to eligible hunters in accordance with the relevant government notification.

The department said such field operations are aimed at ensuring compliance with wildlife laws, controlling illegal hunting and protecting waterfowl populations during the hunting season.

Regular monitoring and enforcement are important for protecting migratory birds and maintaining healthy wetland ecosystems.
