Visit of Ambassadors of Central Asian States to RCCI

Rawalpindi: The ambassadors from Central Asian States visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and had an interactive session with RCCI leadership and representatives from the business community.

The esteemed ambassadors included H.E. Mr. Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev Ambassador of Krgyztsan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Khazar Farhadov and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Saqib Rafiq along with Group Leader Mr. Sohail Altaf extended a warm welcome to the ambassadors of Central Asian countries during an interactive session held at RCCI.

The Chamber’s leadership and members were briefed on trade opportunities, bilateral relations, mutual relations and cooperation in the fields of education and tourism sector in these countries, including the recent incident in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan.

On this occasion, President Saqib Rafiq and Group Leader Sohail Altaf while talking to the ambassadors said that Pakistan has deep rooted historical and cultural relations with the countries of Central Asian Countries. It is very encouraging and also shows the level of seriousness from the ambassadors who visited RCCI and brief about the current situation after the Bishkek incident and facilities being provided to Pakistani students.

Senior VP Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, Vice President Mr. Faisal Shahzad. Former President Mr. Zahid Latif Khan along with other Executive Committee Members & distinguished members were also in attendance.
