PTI postpones Islamabad jalsa amid ‘tense’ political atmosphere

He told the media that PTI has postponed today’s public protest in Islamabad on the advice of PTI founder Imran KhanThe Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) government yesterday lifted the permission for the protest – e-Insaf (PTI) announced that a protest was held in Islamabad amid political tension, leading to security measures being taken in both cities. All roads have been closed. Access to the red zone is restricted and only government officials can enter by presenting their official IDs. > To ensure the safety of players and spectators, Murree Road around the cricket ground has been closed to vehicular traffic. New date for PTI jalsa announcedPTI leader Azam Swati said that PTI will now hold a public protest on September 8.
