The Sindh government was about to launch a crackdown on drug dealers.
Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Tuesday reiterated his commitment to curb the menace of drugs.
Expressing his thoughts, Memon said, “Actions will be taken every day once the scourge of drugs is eradicated.”
He added: “The youth must be taken out of the clutches of drug dealers.
Memon made it clear that teams of competent officers would be formed to launch a crackdown on drug dealers. “The officers who will work in this regard will be awarded with awards and honours,” he added.
“Now a large-scale crackdown on drugs will be launched.
– Strict action against drug dealers –
On Monday, Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon promised to take strict action against drug dealers and middlemen. Memon said, “We will have to end the drug menace from Sindh,” he added.
Memon stated, “Pink buses for women will be increased. We will launch the automated fare collection system on April 18.”
Earlier today, PPP leader Shazia Marri said the government should take its allies on board regarding the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal.
Expressing her thoughts, Marri took a shot at political opponents, saying: “It was in the past that one person spoke of deciding to commit suicide rather than approach an international lender.
“He approached the IMF and agreed to all the conditions imposed by the international lender,” she said.
Marri said: “There is no possibility of changing the NFC price.”
