Wildlife Officials Inspect Sherabad Pheasantry to Ensure Proper Care of Chicks

SHERABAD: The Divisional Wildlife Officer, accompanied by the Range Officer Wildlife, visited the Sherabad Wildlife Pheasantry and inspected the brooder room and other facilities to review arrangements for the care and protection of newly hatched chicks and birds.

During the visit, the officials assessed the conditions of the brooder room and reviewed arrangements for feeding, watering and protection of the newly hatched chicks.

The In-charge Pheasantry was directed to ensure proper care of the chicks and maintain a suitable environment for their healthy growth. Particular emphasis was placed on regular feeding and watering, cleanliness and hygiene in the brooder room.

The In-charge was also instructed to ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of the pheasantry and remain vigilant regarding the overall health and well-being of the chicks and birds.

Wildlife officials stressed that proper management, hygiene and regular monitoring are essential for successful captive breeding and conservation efforts.

The inspection was part of routine efforts to strengthen wildlife management practices and ensure that birds kept at the pheasantry receive appropriate care and protection.
