Lahore: The highly anticipated third season of Shaam Ki Chai, the critically acclaimed digital series produced and presented by Canadian-Pakistani dynamo Nitasha Syed, will launch in the middle of February.
Nitasha Syed’s third season of “Shaam Ki Chai,” which builds on the success of the first two seasons, promises an in-depth examination of the historical discourse surrounding the 1947 Partition, focusing on lesser-known incidents that have been mostly disregarded by mainstream accounts.
Shaam Ki Chai Season 3 will go into Pakistan’s roots, its separation with India, and the complexities of Pakistani identity. It will also investigate the live history and legacy of pre- and post-partition art, culture, food, architecture, and design. A diverse group of people will be interviewed, including historians, architects, partition survivors, and caregivers.
In fact, Shaam Ki Chai was founded by seasoned senior product manager Nitasha Syed, who has a background in software engineering and a strong affinity for her Pakistani heritage. Nitasha felt strongly linked to her heritage as a child growing up in Canada, but she was disheartened by the media’s overall negative portrayal of Pakistanis. Shaam Ki Chai is a platform that celebrates Pakistan’s untold stories, challenges stereotypes, and instills hope and understanding. Nitasha was determined to rewrite the story.
