LAHORE: Seven people were killed and 11 injured in three separate accidents on Friday morning due to fog and speeding.
In a tragic incident, two women lost their lives and five others were injured after a passenger van rammed into a tractor-trailer parked on the roadside.
According to details, the incident took place in Pool Nagar, Kasur district town of Punjab province, where a passenger van on its way from Pattoki town to Lahore collided with a tractor.
Emergency sources confirmed that two women died and five others sustained injuries in the collision, while the injured persons were taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
In a separate road accident, at least five passengers were killed when an express car rammed into a trailer parked along a road in Kot Addu, Punjab.

Sources said the unfortunate was heading to Kot Sultan, Layyah of Multan with five people when the fatal accident took place.
Paramedics took the bodies of the deceased to the hospital.
In a separate road accident near Chinot, six people were injured when a trolley bus coming from Faisalabad collided with a passenger van coming from Chinot on the Faisalabad Chinot road in the early morning on Friday in fog.
