Rawalpindi Administration Beautifies Chak Beli Khan Mor on GT Road Under ‘Suthra Punjab’ Initiative

RAWALPINDI: In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Rawalpindi district administration has transformed Chak Beli Khan Mor on Rawat GT Road into a clean, green, and aesthetically appealing public space through an extensive beautification and plantation campaign.

The initiative was carried out on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Saddar, who personally oversaw the plantation drive and beautification work.

As part of the campaign, the area underwent comprehensive cleaning and landscaping, while a large number of saplings were planted to enhance the roadside environment and improve the city’s green cover. The Assistant Commissioner, accompanied by philanthropists, personally visited a nursery to select suitable plant species and supervised their plantation to ensure quality and sustainability.

The successful execution of the project was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Suthra Punjab workers, the Tehsil Manager, and the Assistant Tehsil Manager, whose hard work transformed the site into an attractive and welcoming landmark.

Officials said the Rawalpindi administration remains committed to improving urban cleanliness, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing the district’s beauty through continued public welfare and green initiatives.
