LAHORE: The 3rd Authority Meeting of Punjab WASA was held at the Punjab WASA Head Office under the chairmanship of Chairman Punjab WASA Nawabzada Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, MPA, to review strategic priorities and administrative matters for the upcoming fiscal year.
Director General Punjab WASA Tayyab Farid and Additional Director General Headquarters Zameer Hussain presented the meeting agendas, outlining key strategic priorities and proposed operational frameworks for Fiscal Year 2026-27.
The meeting was attended in person by Principal Al-Jazari Academy Souman Khalid, Technical Expert Water Resources Atteq-Ur-Rehman, Technical Expert Sanitation Anwar ul Haq Toor and Managing Director WASA Lahore Ghufran Ahmad.
The Special Secretary of the Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department (HUD & PHED), along with senior representatives from the Finance, Planning & Development and Local Government departments, and Managing Directors of all 41 WASAs across Punjab, participated virtually.
Participants held detailed discussions on key policy and administrative matters, focusing on strategic decisions and operational planning for the new fiscal year.
The deliberations also emphasized strengthening operational frameworks and improving coordination among WASA organizations across the province to support more effective delivery of water supply, sanitation and related urban services.
The meeting reflects Punjab WASA’s efforts to strengthen institutional coordination and develop comprehensive strategies aimed at improving urban water and sanitation services throughout the province during FY 2026-27.
